Privacy

Published band pages carry no advertising and no third-party scripts of any kind. Nothing is loaded from another company’s servers and nothing is stored on your device, so there is nothing to consent to and no cookie banner.

If you visit a band’s page

No cookie is set and no identifier is stored. The site counts how many times each band’s page and press kit were served, by calendar day, and nothing else — no address, no location and nothing that tells one visitor from another. Every band’s site publishes the detail of that at /privacy on its own address. The server keeps ordinary request logs, which include IP addresses, for a short period so that faults and abuse can be investigated. Fonts and images are served from this domain, never from a content network.

If you make a site

We store the email address and password you sign up with, and whatever you put on your site. A session cookie keeps you signed in; it is strictly necessary and is not used for anything else. Your email address is never shown on your published page unless you put it there yourself.

If you write to us

The contact form sends us your message and, if you give one, your email address, so that we can reply. It is used for that and nothing else.

Who else sees it

Nobody. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers. The hosting and email providers that run the service process data on our behalf and for no other purpose.

Your data is yours

Ask and we will send you a copy of everything we hold, or delete your account and your site. Deleting removes the pages, the uploads and the account. Write to privacy@skaldeverk.no.
